How to delete your data

You can delete your Hazmeviral account and the data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, what we are required to keep, and how long it takes.
Delete a single brand
If you want to remove only one of your brands and keep your account, open the brand, go to Settings, and use the Delete brand option in the danger zone. The brand, its brief, its pillars, its documents, its reels (including drafts and AI suggestions), its hooks, its connected channels, and its metrics are permanently deleted. Other brands on your account are not affected.
Delete your entire account
To delete your full account and every brand on it, send a request from the email address associated with your account to the address at the bottom of this page with the subject "Delete my account". Include the email used to sign up so we can confirm your identity. We will respond within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of the confirmed request.
What we remove
- Your profile information stored by Hazmeviral and by our authentication provider (Clerk).
- All brands you own, including their briefs, pillars, documents, reels, hooks, scripts, captions, hashtags, SEO titles, schedules, and AI suggestions.
- AI provider API keys you have saved.
- Connected social channel tokens. We revoke access from our side, but you should also revoke the connection from each social platform's settings page.
- Metrics and analytics tied to your brands.
What we may keep
After deletion, we may retain a limited set of records when we are legally required to or when the data is needed to defend our legal interests. This may include:
- Anonymized server logs used for security and abuse prevention.
- Billing and tax records, when applicable, for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Records needed to comply with a court order, legal claim, or regulatory request.
Backups
Backups are encrypted and rotated on a fixed schedule. Your data will disappear from backups as they are overwritten in the normal course of the rotation. We do not restore deleted accounts from backup except for disaster recovery.
Third-party platforms
Deleting your account on Hazmeviral does not delete content you have already published on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, or any other social network. To remove that content, use each platform's own tools. We can revoke our access token to those platforms, but only you can remove the posts on the platform itself.
Confirmation
When deletion is complete you will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with the account.
